Answering Some Objections to "Artificial" Contraception
ben d. has, in comments on a much earlier post, raised some extended arguments against contraception and its abortion-reducing value. He expresses the concerns that "artificial" methods might lead to increased abortion and male exploitation of women.
I have tried to explain why and how I most vigorously disagree. The conflation of abortion and "artificial" prevention methods by prolifers and prochoicers alike is a great sticking point in the abortion debate. It is long past time for alternative takes on the issue.
